We are a law firm investigating claims that the following companies may have texted persons on their cell phone WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT:
Text messages from a company to your cellphone are illegal unless you have previously provided the company with your written or oral consent for the texts. Without your consent, these texts may be a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Anyone in the U.S. who has received them may be owed compensation.
The TCPA imposes a penalty for each violation of $500.00 or $1,500.00 per unlawful text, depending on if the violation was willful on the part of the texter or not.
Did you receive or do you know someone who has received texts on your cellphone without your consent from any of the companies listed above? If so, we would like to hear from you. If you have any information about potential violations of the TCPA by the above companies, please contact the Law Offices of Michael P. Sousa, APC at info@msousalaw.com or fill out the form in the sidebar. Please leave your contact information.
